Questions about cards
Are cards with the same name, but different card numbers considered the same card for the purposes of deckbuilding?
Cards such as Bo-20v and Bo-1149 which share the same name "digivice 01" are treated as the same card when building your deck, so you can't have more than 3 of them total. However, they are considered different cards for the purposes of "you may only place one of this card in your slots", so your slots may contain 1 Bo-1149 and 1 Bo-20v, but not 2 Bo-20v.
Preparation Phase Questions
If my slots are full, can I swap option cards in my slots with option cards in my hand?
No. If your slots are full you may not set any option cards. You may send option cards to the dark area during hand adjustment, but you cannot send options to the dark area after drawing cards for hand adjustment.
Can I change in which slots I've placed my options?
Yes. But only at the start of the preparation phase.
Can I activate option cards with the timing "Preparation phase" right after setting them?
No. The timing to activation option cards in the preparation phase happens before the timing to set them, so the earliest you can use a card with the timing "preparation phase" would be the turn after you set them. There are some option cards that do let you use them in the preparation phase right after setting them, but all of these cards will tell you about this in their effect text.
